Amazing dentist and even better staff. I have been going here for the last year and don't understand the negative reviews. From the dentist (Jaiswal) to the office staff(Mrs. Arellano and others I can't name), to the dental assistants (Melody and Hillary) I have had nothing but positive experiences. Everyone is very friendly, patient, and accommodating. Jaiswal is very honest and clear about dental procedures and gives good advice for dental health. During my crown installment, Jaiswal worked together with me until she was certain that my crown sat flush with my teeth. When I informed her of a recent development as a result of my wisdom teeth surgery (with a separate surgeon) she scheduled a follow up on my behalf at no additional cost to me. It was very clear she cared and I never felt like just another item to be checked off on her schedule that day. Typically I don't think twice about small talk with health care professionals, but dental assistant Melody is not only good at her job but also provides great conversation and is very funny. I always look forward to interacting with her. If she is your dental assistant consider yourself lucky. Even when she was busy and she wasn't assigned to me, she still verified I was in good hands and was comfortable (thanks for the blanket if you're reading this). If she ever decides to leave Poway Family Dental Group I will be very sad! Through Poway Family Dental Group I have had numerous teeth cleanings, had wisdom teeth removed and had a crown installed. The prices were fair and they took my insurance, I couldn't ask for anything more. The procedures themselves were straightforward. During teeth cleaning they asked if I wanted additional things done for my dental health, which were completely optional but relevant nonetheless. I have noticed the office staff rotates through 1-5 people (in the front), but every single one has been pleasant and friendly. They get you in and get you out, simple as that. I have never had to wait long, their office is ran efficiently. And if you want to conversate with them they're more than happy to. Payments are very straight forward through this dental office, Mrs. Arellano even went out of her way to get the bill lowered for my wisdom teeth surgery which I am very thankful for. I can't speak for the other dentists on staff of course, but if they are anything like Jaiswal you are in good hands. The only word of advice I can give is: dress warm! It's cold inside especially if you're there for long periods. In summary, this dental office meets my every need and I have no complaints whatsoever. I will continue to use them for the foreseeable future, despite the fact that there are other dentists closer to me.
